About Me
My motivation to become a therapist stems from personal experiences that taught me the importance of having support during the various stages of life.
To me, therapy is about beginning to view what happens to us from a different perspective.
I view therapy as a space where we seek not only to alleviate distress but also to understand what lies beneath it. We often come to a session knowing something isn't right, yet without fully grasping why we feel the way we do, why we react in certain ways, or why we end up repeating situations that cause us pain.
I believe a crucial part of therapy lies in finding the words to understand and make sense of things that, until now, may have manifested only as a sense of unease or distress.
My approach is grounded in an emotional and systemic perspective. This means I do not view our experiences in isolation, but rather in the context of our personal history, our relationships, our life experiences, and the ways we have learned to relate to ourselves and others. Often, patterns of behavior that cause us suffering today made sense at some point in our past. Understanding their origins allows us to decide what we want to keep and what we need to do differently.
